Xanthus is a beautiful Arabian/Friesian cross. This was not a cross I'd seen before, but imagined the possibilities with-and Xanthus does this beautiful cross proud. He inherited his sire's feathering and a little bit of his attitude, but his dam's grace and intelligence. He's a bit headstrong, and likes to have his way, but really is very affectionate. Xanthus really likes to get himself into trouble-he's always searching for ways to get out of his paddock. He's got great dressage potential, and will debut at Scottsdale in training level. He's a big, extravagant mover, has a beautiful uphill build, and good, straight legs. We look forward to seeing what he does in the showring. His sire, Romeo De Roza, is Red Raven Farm's premier Friesian stallion, who has done extremely well in upper level dressage & halter competition. His dam is a beautiful Pure Polish mare by OKW Aliage-Xanthus inherited great things from this side of his pedigree as well.
